Repashy Morning Wood Xylivore Gel Food
Repashy Morning Wood is a high-fiber xylivore gel diet made for wood-eating plecos and other fish that graze on driftwood in the wild. It blends real wood cellulose with a super-firm, triple-gelling formula that stands up to rasping mouths and holds together in the tank, so your fish can browse it the way they would a piece of aquarium driftwood. Why Repashy Morning Wood
- Built for wood eaters: formulated for xylophagous plecos like Panaque (royal plecos), plus many Hypostomus and Ancistrus species.
- High fiber, real cellulose: wood pulp and plant fiber support the long digestive tracts of wood-grazing fish.
- Super-firm gel: a triple-gelling-agent recipe makes a tough gel that resists rasping and stays intact for hours.
- Snails enjoy it too: a solid high-fiber option for nerites, mystery snails, and other grazers.
- Clean and convenient: cut to size and feed only what gets eaten, with no mess or clouding.
How to Prepare
Morning Wood ships as a shelf-stable dry powder. Mix 1 part powder with 2 to 3 parts hot water, stir, and let it set into a firm gel (about 5 minutes). Cut into pieces and drop near your driftwood and bottom feeders, ideally after lights-out. Refrigerate prepared gel for up to a week, or freeze it for longer storage.
