Seachem Reef Glue
Seachem Reef Glue is a thick cyanoacrylate gel for mounting coral frags and colonies to reef rock or frag plugs. It grabs in seconds with excellent control, hold, and durability, and it can even be applied underwater. The reformulated gel is 17 times thicker than the original with a no-mess cap, so you get more control and less waste with every drop. Why Reefers Use It
- Fast, strong bond. Sets in seconds and holds frags securely on rock or plugs.
- Thick gel. The 17x thicker formula stays where you put it instead of running.
- Works underwater. Handy for in-tank touch-ups, though a dried surface bonds best.
- Stays fresh. The aluminum tube and no-mess cap resist drying out far better than plastic bottles.
- Versatile. Great for reef and freshwater aquascaping, and even small plastic repairs.
How to Use
For the strongest bond, pat the base of the frag and the plug or rock as dry as you can. Apply a small dab of Reef Glue to the frag base, press it onto the plug or rock, and hold for a few seconds until it sets. A little goes a long way with the thick gel. For quick in-tank fixes, the glue can be applied underwater, though a dried surface still gives the best hold. Replace the cap firmly after each use to keep the tube fresh.

FAQ
Can I use Reef Glue underwater?
Yes. It can be applied underwater for quick fixes, but patting the surfaces dry first gives the fastest and strongest bond.
Is it reef safe?
Yes. Cyanoacrylate gel is the standard adhesive for mounting corals and is inert once cured.
Will the tube dry out between uses?
The aluminum tube and no-mess cap resist drying much better than glue in plastic bottles. Just cap it firmly after each use.
Can I use it in a freshwater tank?
Yes. It works for freshwater hardscape and aquascaping as well as reef tanks, and even for small plastic repairs.
