The sera Snail Collect is a simple, chemical-free trap for removing unwanted snails from your aquarium. Bait it with a food tablet, leave it in the tank overnight, and pest snails crawl in but cannot get back out. It is completely safe for fish, shrimp, and plants, and it also works to catch bristle worms in marine aquariums. Two sera O-Nip bait tablets are included to get you started. Why use a snail trap

Pest snails such as bladder, pond, and ramshorn snails multiply quickly and are hard to remove by hand. Chemical snail treatments can harm shrimp, sensitive fish, and plants, and a sudden die-off can foul your water. A trap lets you physically remove snails a batch at a time, with no chemicals and no risk to the rest of your tank.

How it works

• Place a bait tablet in the center of the trap (2 sera O-Nip tablets are included)
• Set the trap in the aquarium in the evening
• Snails are drawn to the bait and enter, but the entry pins block their way back out
• Remove the trap the next morning and empty the collected snails
• Repeat over several nights to bring a snail population under control

The pins at the entry keep fish out, and the outer bar spacing adjusts to the size of snail you want to catch. Reusable, and also effective for bristle worms in saltwater tanks.
