Eva Aquatics Ceramic Frag 2" Square Tile - 12 Pack
Give your coral frags a clean, reef-safe base to grow on. These 2 inch square ceramic frag tiles from Eva Aquatics give cut coral a stable, textured surface to encrust and spread across, whether you are propagating in a dedicated frag tank or growing colonies out on the reef. Each pack includes 12 tiles in white or black. Mount frags in seconds with a dab of Seachem Flourish Glue and a shot of CA accelerator.
Why These Tiles Work
- Reef-safe ceramic with a porous, textured surface coral readily encrusts
- 12 tiles per pack, plenty for a propagation session or frag swaps
- Natural white or black ceramic with no dyes or coatings, just rinse and go
- The flat base sits stable on frag racks, egg crate, or the bare bottom.
- Uniform 2 inch square footprint keeps your frag rack organized and easy to ID
How to Mount a Frag
- Rinse the tile in RO/DI or tank water and pat the frag base dry
- Add a dab of cyanoacrylate gel glue to the tile
- Press the frag on and hold a few seconds, or hit it with CA accelerator for an instant set
- Dip new frags in coral dip first, then set the tile on your rack with gentle flow and appropriate light

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to cure or soak the tiles first?
A quick rinse is all they need since the ceramic is inert and reef-safe. Many reefers still let fresh tiles sit in the tank for a week or two so they pick up coralline and biofilm before mounting.
What glue should I use?
A cyanoacrylate gel such as Seachem Flourish Glue holds best. Add a shot of CA accelerator when you want the bond to set instantly.
Should I choose white or black?
It is purely visual. White tiles blend into bright sand and light rock, while black tiles vanish into shadowed rockwork and make colorful frags pop. Both are the same reef-safe ceramic.
Are these tiles or plugs?
These are flat tiles, which give encrusting and plating corals more room to spread than a small plug. For SPS and single polyp frags, our 1 inch plugs drop straight into a frag rack.
