IceCap Magnetic Heater Mount
The IceCap Magnetic Heater Mount replaces the suction cups that come with every aquarium heater, the ones that harden, let go and drop the heater into the sand or against a sump baffle. A wet-side collar holds the heater body and a rubber-coated dry-side magnet clamps it through the glass, so the element stays put, stays off the panel and stays easy to lift out for cleaning. Choose the Single for one heater or the Dual for a two-heater backup setup. Pair it with our 50W, 100W, 200W, 300W IceCap titanium heater elements or browse the rest of our aquarium equipment.
How It Works
The wet-side bracket slips over a heater body up to 1 in in diameter and sits against the inside of the tank or sump. The matching dry-side magnet goes on the outside of the glass and pulls the bracket tight. The Single is rated for panels up to 3/8 in thick, the Dual for panels up to 1/2 in. Because the collar holds the heater a short distance off the glass, heat spreads into the water instead of into the panel, and there is nothing to peel off or re-stick when you want to move it.

Which Size Is Right for You?
Single for one heater, or for tanks with glass up to 3/8 in thick.
Dual for two heaters side by side on a controller, and for sumps or displays with glass up to 1/2 in thick.
Setup Tips
Wipe the glass clean inside and out before you mount it. Place the bracket where the heater will stay fully submerged even after evaporation, ideally in a sump chamber with steady flow, and keep the element clear of acrylic baffles, sand and rock. Give the heater 15 minutes to cool before you lift it out of the collar for cleaning.

FAQ
Will it hold through thick glass?
The Single is rated for panels up to 3/8 in. The Dual is rated up to 1/2 in. Both work on glass or acrylic.
What heater diameter fits?
Up to 1.0 in outside diameter, which covers most glass and titanium heater bodies. Measure a heater with a thick guard before buying.
Are the magnets safe in saltwater?
Yes. The magnets are fully sealed in polymer, so there is no exposed metal to corrode.
Can I use it in a freshwater tank?
Yes. It is rated for both saltwater and freshwater.
Does it come with a heater?
No. It is the mount only.
