Klir Flow Diverting Cap
The Klir Flow Diverting Cap is an optional flow-control accessory for the Klir Di-4 and Di-7 drop-in fleece filters. It caps the unused holes in your sump’s filter sock tray so water is directed through the Klir instead of slipping around it, and it dials open or closed to divert excess flow when your return is running strong. Pair it with the rest of your filtration setup.
What It Does
- Caps the unused sock-tray holes around your Klir so water passes through the fleece, not past it
- Dials open or closed to divert excess flow away from the filter
- Lets you filter less aggressively and stretch a fleece roll further when flow is high
- Simple drop-in accessory, no tools and no plumbing changes
Choose Your Size
The cap is sized to the filter body, so match it to the Klir you run:
- 4 in. fits the Klir Di-4
- 7 in. fits the Klir Di-7

FAQ
Which size do I need? Match it to your filter: the 4 in. cap is for the Klir Di-4, the 7 in. cap is for the Klir Di-7.
Do I have to run one? No, it is optional. It is there for when you want to cap off unused tray holes or ease back the flow through the fleece.
What does it actually do? It seals the spare openings in your filter sock tray and can be dialed to divert some of the flow, so more water is filtered and the fleece is not pushed as hard.
Freshwater or saltwater? Either. It is a mechanical accessory and works on any system running a Klir Di-4 or Di-7.
