PolypLab Reef-Primer One Shot
Give every new coral a clean start before it goes into your reef. PolypLab Reef-Primer One Shot is a pre-measured, single-use 9 g pouch of Reef-Primer, PolypLab's potassium-salt coral dip made for your acclimation routine. Mix one pouch into aquarium water, dip new corals and frags for up to 5 minutes, and knock off hitchhiking pests before they ever reach your display. PolypLab formulates Reef-Primer to be gentle on coral, so the dip itself won't trigger a stress response.

Why Reefers Keep Reef-Primer on Hand
- Targets the pests that ruin new frags. PolypLab lists zoanthid-eating nudibranchs, Montipora-eating nudibranchs, Acropora-eating flatworms, red flatworms, zoanthid-eating spiders, and bristleworms.
- More than pests. PolypLab also lists filamentous hair algae, rapid and slow tissue necrosis, and bacterial infections among the problems Reef-Primer cleans away.
- Gentle on coral. PolypLab says the dipping process won't stress your corals, and they go straight from the dip into your main aquarium.
- Pre-measured single dose. One pouch makes one batch of dip, so there is no scooping, weighing, or guesswork.
- Fast. A dip takes 5 minutes or less, so it fits easily into your normal acclimation routine.

FAQ
Can I add Reef-Primer to my display tank?
Reef-Primer is made strictly as a dip. Mix it in a separate container, dip your corals, then discard the used water. PolypLab's label is clear that it should never be added directly to the aquarium.
How much water does one pouch make?
One 9 g pouch mixes into about 1 liter (roughly a quart) of aquarium water, plenty for dipping a few frags. Always follow the directions printed on the pouch.
Do I need to rinse corals after the dip?
PolypLab's directions go straight from the dip into your main aquarium, with no separate rinse step.
What's the difference between the One Shot, the Shot, and the jar?
They are the same Reef-Primer in different sizes. The One Shot is a 9 g pouch for about 1 liter of dip, the Reef-Primer Shot is a 45 g single serving for 1 gallon, and the 180 g jar measures out at 45 g per gallon for up to 4 gallons of dip.
