Seachem CoralCrete
Two-part epoxy putty that locks coral and rockwork in place. Seachem CoralCrete is a reef-safe bonding putty for securing coral frags to rock and plugs, or for fusing rockwork into a stable aquascape. You get about 5 minutes of working time, then it fully cures underwater or in air within 24 hours. It is ideal for heavier frags, branching corals, and large-polyp stony corals, and it works in freshwater, marine, and reef aquariums.
Pair it with Seachem Reef Glue for a fast-tack super glue plus epoxy combo, and browse our corals to mount.
Why CoralCrete
- Strong two-part bond that holds larger, heavier frags and rock that thin glues cannot.
- Five-minute working time, enough to position carefully before it sets.
- Cures underwater or in air, fully hardening within 24 hours.
- Reef safe for corals, invertebrates, and fish.
- Freshwater and saltwater, use it for reef frags or freshwater hardscape.
Choose Your Color
| Color | Best for |
|---|---|
| Grey | Blends with natural live rock and dry rock |
| Purple | Matches synthetic reef rock and coralline algae |
Each color comes in 2 oz and 4 oz sizes. Choose 2 oz for occasional frag mounting and 4 oz for larger aquascaping projects.
How to Use
- Cut off equal parts of the two-tone putty and knead it until the color is uniform.
- Press the putty onto the base of the frag, or into the joint between the rocks you are joining.
- Hold it in place for a minute, then leave it to fully cure over the next 24 hours.
Tip: wet your fingers first to keep the putty from sticking to your hands while you work.
