Vitalis Tropical Flakes
Vitalis Tropical Flakes are a large, soft flake built on whole fish meal and algae instead of wheat and fish by-product. Around 45% usable protein, natural carotenoids for color, and a flake that sinks slowly and stays in one piece so tetras, guppies and gouramis catch it at every level of the tank. Add Vitalis Tropical Pellets for the bottom half of the tank and see all freshwater dry foods.
Features
- Large flakes that hold together and sink slowly, feeding top, mid and bottom fish
- About 45% protein from whole fish meal, with algae and vegetable matter for gut health
- Natural pigments and astaxanthin for color, no artificial dyes
- Water stable up to 24 hours with minimal leaching
- 40g resealable pot, made in the UK by World Feeds
Who it is for
Tetras and rasboras, guppies, platies and mollies, barbs, danios, rainbowfish, gouramis, angelfish and other freshwater community fish.
Feeding Guide

FAQ
Is it good for bettas? Yes as part of a rotation. Bettas do best with a pellet or frozen food as the main diet and flake a few times a week.
Why does it sink? It is a denser flake than most. That is deliberate, so midwater fish get fed instead of only the surface gulpers.
Does it cloud the water? No. Feed lightly and the flake stays whole until eaten.
