Prodibio Start Up
The Prodibio Start Up kit is a complete rapid-cycling system for any brand-new freshwater or saltwater aquarium. Each kit pairs sealed ampoules of BioDigest live nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria with Stop Ammo, a natural plant-extract ammonia trap, so your tank builds real biological filtration in days instead of weeks. It is the simplest way to start a tank safely and add livestock sooner. Browse the rest of our water care and conditioners to round out your setup.
How It Works
When you set up a new aquarium there is no established bacteria colony to process fish waste, so ammonia climbs to dangerous levels. Start Up solves both halves of that problem at once. Stop Ammo immediately binds free ammonia into a harmless form so it cannot burn gills or stress fish. At the same time, BioDigest introduces a broad blend of live nitrifying and denitrifying strains that colonize your filter, rock, and substrate, converting ammonia to nitrite, nitrite to nitrate, and nitrate on toward harmless nitrogen gas. Dose one ampoule of each every 15 days during start-up and your tank cycles quickly and stably.

How to Use
- Add dechlorinated water and let equipment run before dosing.
- Snap open one BioDigest ampoule and one Stop Ammo ampoule and pour each directly into the aquarium or sump.
- Repeat the pair every 15 days while the tank is establishing.
- In saltwater, hardy fish can usually be introduced shortly after the first dose; add livestock gradually and test your water.
- For ongoing maintenance after cycling, continue with Prodibio BioDigest on its own.
Which Size Is Right for You?
6 Vials is ideal for a single new tank up to about 50 gallons that needs one full start-up cycle.
12 Vials suits hobbyists who want to start a tank and keep dosing through the critical first couple of months.
30 Vials is the value pack for large systems, multiple tanks, or anyone who cycles tanks regularly.

FAQ
Does Start Up work in both freshwater and saltwater?
Yes. The same kit cycles planted and community freshwater tanks as well as marine and reef systems.
How soon can I add fish?
Stop Ammo protects fish from ammonia right away, but always add livestock gradually and test your water. In reef tanks hardy fish are often added within the first day; in freshwater, going slower is safest.
Do the ampoules need to be refrigerated?
No. Prodibio seals each dose in an oxygen-free glass ampoule that keeps the bacteria dormant and shelf-stable at room temperature until you use it.
What is the difference between Start Up and plain BioDigest?
Start Up adds Stop Ammo ammonia protection to the BioDigest bacteria, which is exactly what a brand-new, uncycled tank needs. Once your tank is established, BioDigest alone handles routine maintenance.
