Quantum Bio-Gen
Quantum Bio-Gen is a bioactive color enhancer built to bring out the whites, blues, and violets in your reef. It supplies bioactive halogens, iodide, fluoride, and bromide, the elements corals use to drive their cool-toned pigments and chromoproteins. Beyond color, Bio-Gen helps reduce coral bleaching, supports calcification, acts as a natural resistance booster, and feeds beneficial macroalgae. How It Works
Blue, violet, and white coral pigments depend on a steady supply of halogens, especially iodide. In closed reef systems iodine is consumed quickly by corals, macroalgae, and protein skimming, so it runs low between water changes and the cool tones fade. Bio-Gen replenishes iodide, fluoride, and bromide in bioactive form so corals can keep building those pigments. The same halogens support healthy calcification and help corals resist bleaching stress, which is why Bio-Gen does more than just boost color.

Dosing
Add Bio-Gen into an area of high water flow. Dose daily based on how heavily your reef is stocked, then fine-tune to keep total iodine between 0.06 and 0.09 ppm. As a reference, 1 mL per 100 L (26 gal) raises total iodine by roughly 0.02 ppm, and the other halogens rise proportionally. Test iodine regularly and dose to your results.

FAQ
Will Bio-Gen make my corals more blue?
It intensifies the blue, violet, and white pigments corals already have by supplying the halogens those pigments depend on, mainly iodide. It will not add color a coral is not capable of, but it brings faded cool tones back to life.
How is this different from Bio-Metals?
Bio-Metals drives greens and yellows with iron and manganese. Bio-Gen drives whites, blues, and violets with halogens. They target different ends of the spectrum and are meant to run together.
Can I overdose iodine?
Yes, iodine is active at very low levels. Keep total iodine in the 0.06 to 0.09 ppm range, test regularly, and dose to your results rather than guessing.
Can I run it on an auto-doser?
Yes. It is a stable liquid made for daily dosing and runs cleanly through any dosing pump. Add it to a high-flow area of the tank.
