Prodibio Start Up Nano
The Prodibio Start Up Nano is the small-tank version of Prodibio's rapid-cycling kit, sized perfectly for nano and desktop aquariums. Each box holds two BioDigest live-bacteria ampoules and two Stop Ammo ammonia-trap ampoules, giving a new freshwater or saltwater nano tank everything it needs to build biological filtration quickly and safely. Pair it with the rest of our water care and conditioners.
How It Works
A brand-new nano tank has no bacteria colony to handle fish waste, so ammonia spikes fast in such a small water volume. Stop Ammo immediately binds free ammonia into a harmless form so it cannot stress or burn your fish. At the same time, BioDigest seeds a broad blend of live nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria that colonize your filter and substrate, converting ammonia to nitrite, nitrite to nitrate, and nitrate on toward harmless nitrogen gas. Dose one ampoule of each every 15 days while the tank establishes.

How to Use
- Fill the tank with dechlorinated water and let the filter and heater run before dosing.
- Snap open one BioDigest ampoule and one Stop Ammo ampoule and pour each into the tank or filter.
- Repeat the pair every 15 days while the tank is establishing.
- Add livestock gradually and test your water as the cycle matures.
- For ongoing maintenance, continue with Prodibio BioDigest on its own.

How is the Nano different from the regular Start Up kit?
Same BioDigest bacteria and Stop Ammo ammonia protection, just a smaller 4-ampoule pack at a lower price, ideal for nano and desktop tanks that do not need a full kit.
Does it work in saltwater nano reefs?
Yes. Start Up Nano cycles both freshwater and saltwater nano tanks. Add livestock gradually and keep testing your water.
Do the ampoules need refrigeration?
No. The bacteria are sealed in oxygen-free glass ampoules that keep them dormant and shelf-stable at room temperature until you use them.
How many doses are in one box?
