Seachem Reef Plus
Seachem Reef Plus is a concentrated blend of vitamins, amino acids, and other organics that nourishes corals and reef invertebrates. It supplies the vitamins, amino acids, and trace organics that support coral color and growth, feed filter feeders, and sustain the live microfauna that keep a reef healthy. Available in 100 mL, 250 mL, 500 mL, and 2 L sizes.
Why Reef Plus
- Provides vitamins, including C and the B-complex, plus a broad amino acid profile
- Feeds soft corals, LPS, and filter-feeding invertebrates
- Supports vivid coloration and steady coral growth
- Helps sustain copepods and other beneficial microfauna
- Concentrated, and offered in four sizes from nano tanks to large systems
How to Dose
Add Reef Plus as directed on the bottle, roughly one capful per 20 gallons twice a week. For filter feeders, dose with the pumps off or after lights out so the supplement stays in suspension long enough to be captured. Start light and build up to your tank's response, and like any organic, do not overdose.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does Reef Plus actually do?
It supplies vitamins and amino acids that corals and filter feeders use for color, growth, and tissue health, and it helps feed the microfauna that round out a reef's food web.
When should I dose it?
Twice a week works for most tanks. For filter feeders, dose with the pumps off or after lights out so it stays in the water column long enough to be captured.
Can it cause algae problems?
Like any organic supplement, overdosing can feed nuisance algae. Dose conservatively, watch your tank, and adjust to its response.
Which size should I buy?
The 100 mL and 250 mL suit nano and small reefs, the 500 mL fits most display tanks, and the 2 L is the best value for large systems or dosing several tanks.
