What This Adapter Does

This is a straight reducer coupling: one end accepts the 3/4" Loc-Line system, the other steps down to the 1/2" system. Reach for it when your bulkhead or pump output runs the 3/4" line but you want to finish the run with 1/2" nozzles and segments for tighter, more targeted flow. It is the in-line counterpart to the 3/4" x 1/2" Y reducer found in our Loc-Line Y-Fittings.

FAQ

Do I need glue, clamps, or threading?
No. Loc-Line segments and fittings snap together by hand and stay put under normal return-pump flow. Pull them apart whenever you want to re-aim or re-plumb.

Which parts does this adapter join?
It bridges the 3/4" Loc-Line system and the 1/2" Loc-Line system in a straight, in-line run. If you need to split flow at the same time, use the 3/4" x 1/2" Y reducer instead.

Is it safe for reef and planted tanks?
Yes. Loc-Line is molded from inert acetal that will not alter water chemistry in fresh or salt water.

How much pressure can it take?
The modular hose system is built for low-pressure aquarium returns and closed loops, roughly 10 to 20 PSI. It is not intended for high-pressure pump plumbing.
