Loc-Line 1/2" Nozzles snap onto the end of a 1/2" Loc-Line return line and shape the flow exactly how your tank needs it. Sold as individual nozzles in six styles, from a tight 3/8" round stream to wide flare fans, a 90 degree spray bar, and a flat 7 hole diffuser. Why Loc-Line
Loc-Line is the original modular hose system, made in the USA by Lockwood Products since 1983. Every nozzle is molded from premium acetal copolymer that shrugs off salt water, and the ball-and-socket joints snap together, hold their aim without spring-back, and re-position in seconds. The 1/2" system is the go-to size for nano and mid-size tank returns.

How to Install
- Snap the nozzle onto the last ball of any 1/2" Loc-Line segment. Our Loc-Line Assembly Pliers make assembly and removal much easier on the hands.
- Bend the run to aim the flow. Joints hold position without drooping, even with the pump running.
- Mix styles on multi-return tanks: a flare at the surface for gas exchange, a round tip aimed lower for circulation.
- Sizes do not interchange. These fit the 1/2" system only; for 3/4" returns see our Loc-Line 3/4" Nozzles.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which nozzle should I pick? Round tips concentrate flow, flares spread it into a thin sheet, the spray bar lays a row of jets along the glass, and the flat 7 hole breaks a strong stream into soft fingers of current. Many tanks run one of each on a split return.
Will these fit my existing return? They fit the 1/2" Loc-Line system and compatible 1/2" modular fittings, the size most nano and AIO tanks use. Measure your segment if you are unsure; 3/4" parts will not snap onto a 1/2" run.
Are they reef safe? Yes. Acetal copolymer is resistant to salt water, which is why Loc-Line is the standard return fitting in the reef hobby.
How do I keep flow even across a spray bar? Feed it with adequate pump output and keep the bar level; if one end runs weak, an in-line valve on the other return branch helps balance things out.
